Terms of Service

Welcome to CarLink. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CarLink mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by CarLink ("we," "us," or "our") in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CarLink.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on CarLink. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Registration

To use most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your password and credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You may sign up using a phone number, email address, or Apple Sign-In. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Account Roles

CarLink offers three account types:

• Buyer: can browse listings, save searches, manage a vehicle garage, contact sellers, and place cash-on-delivery orders for spare parts.
• Dealer: a verified business that lists multiple vehicles and spare parts, manages inventory, and engages with buyers.
• Broker: an individual or business that lists vehicles or parts on behalf of others.

Dealers and brokers may be subject to additional verification before their listings appear publicly.

4. Listings and Marketplace Conduct

If you post a vehicle, spare part, or other listing, you agree that:

• You own or have authorization to sell the item
• The listing is accurate (make, model, year, condition, price, photos)
• Photos are of the actual item, not stock images or third-party content unless authorized
• You will not list stolen, counterfeit, or illegal goods
• You will not engage in price manipulation or false advertising
• You will not list duplicates of the same item to game search rankings
• You will respond to legitimate buyer inquiries in good faith

5. Test Reports

Sellers may upload optional inspection reports (PDFs or images) for vehicles. By uploading a test report, you confirm:

• The report is genuine and pertains to the actual vehicle being listed
• You have the right to share the report content
• You will not upload fabricated or misleading reports

Buyers should treat test reports as supplementary information and conduct their own inspection before purchase. CarLink does not verify the accuracy of test reports.

6. Cash on Delivery

Spare parts orders on CarLink are processed as cash on delivery. By placing an order:

• You agree to pay the seller in cash upon receipt of the item
• Sellers agree to deliver items as described
• Disputes between buyer and seller should first be addressed directly; CarLink may mediate but is not a party to the transaction

CarLink does not collect, process, or store any payment card information. We are not a payment processor.

7. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not:

• Post hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory content
• Post sexually explicit content
• Post violent or graphic content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service to defraud or scam other users
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content outside listings
• Attempt to circumvent our security, rate limits, or moderation systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Scrape data from the Service without our written consent
• Upload malware or harmful files

8. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, listings, messages). By posting, you grant CarLink a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

We provide tools to report inappropriate content and block abusive users. We review reports promptly and may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

9. Intellectual Property

The CarLink name, logo, app design, and website are our property and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of CarLink is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if your account is implicated in fraud, abuse, or harm to other users. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

CarLink is a marketplace platform. We do not own, sell, or take possession of the vehicles or spare parts listed by sellers. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of any listing or test report
• The condition or quality of any item
• The identity or legitimacy of any user
• The completion of any transaction

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarLink and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between buyers and sellers, loss of data, or unauthorized access to your account.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will be revised, and we may notify you in the app for significant changes. Continued use of CarLink after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes will first be resolved through good-faith discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Saudi Arabia, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws apply (e.g., for users in Egypt).
